As Workforce Planning and Accounting Manager at Informa Festivals, you'll play a vital role in our new, rapidly growing division. You'll work directly with senior finance leaders to provide crucial workforce insights that drive our strategic goals.

What you'll do:

  • Lead our workforce planning by maintaining headcount forecasts and providing data-led insights to leadership
  • Partner with finance teams across the business to gather timely data inputs
  • Deliver monthly financial reporting to CFOs, including cost analysis and board-ready content
  • Manage payroll accounting processes, ensuring accurate journal entries and reconciliations
  • Run capitalization models for internal projects and explain variances to leadership
  • Prepare and post Group Recharge models monthly
  • Support financial planning for annual budgets, three-year plans, and monthly forecasts
  • Calculate monthly bonus accruals and support HR during the annual bonus cycle
  • Ensure consistency in accounting and forecasting for project-related costs
  • Champion risk management by implementing appropriate controls in all work

A typical day might include:

  • Analysing workforce data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Creating clear financial reports that tell a story with numbers
  • Collaborating with finance colleagues to resolve complex accounting issues
  • Building models that provide actionable insights for decision-makers

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant with proven experience in financial analysis
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to build models and communicate key messages
  • Problem-solving ability with intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with Essbase, Hyperion Planning or TM1 would be beneficial
  • Ability to work independently while building collaborative relationships
