Informa Festivals marks an exciting new chapter in B2B events, bringing some of the world's most influential creative, technology and business festivals together. We're combining prestigious brands like Cannes Lions, Black Hat, Money20/20 and London Tech Week with cuttingāedge marketing intelligence platforms and advisory services to deliver unmissable experiences and insights. Our festivalāled approach reimagines traditional B2B events, creating powerful, immersive experiences that drive innovation and industry advancement. This role is based in our Bugis Junction Towers office. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling Lion's Intelligence products by identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual subscriptions revenue targets
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline based on a targeted pursuit strategy, including contact mapping and engagement plans for each target
- Provide accurate monthly revenue forecasting for commercial leadership
- Meet and exceed monthly activity KPIs that support pipeline development, consistently tracked in Salesforce
- Establish and conduct the necessary industry, institution, and client research to create tailored outreach for your territory and to support a structured and consultative approach to prospecting
- Present the LIONS Intelligence products and services with a high degree of professionalism
- Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of sales administration
- Proactively identify opportunities to capitalize on developments or changes in the marketplace
- Work with sales management to develop and write strategic sales plans, and execute stated goals and objectives
- You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion
- You are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced
Qualifications
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to identify, strategize and build new business opportunities
- Persuasiveness, executive presence, and outstanding communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
- Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for LION's content areas (marketing and advertising best practices in creativity and effectiveness)
- A committed and effective team player
