Overview
Informa TechTarget seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve Windows-based AWS infrastructure, focusing on secure, reliable, and easy-to-deploy systems. You’ll partner with product engineering to improve CI/CD, monitoring, and IaC, driving operational excellence and security. The role centers on automation, patching, and incident response, shaping production readiness at scale. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position with meaningful impact on reliability and security across environments.

Responsibilities
- Manage Windows Server environments on AWS (EC2) for high availability and performance
- Own patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening across Windows workloads
- Monitor security events and collaborate with security teams to remediate risks
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for consistent deployments
- Implement and improve Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Develop PowerShell automation to reduce manual toil
- Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging
- Collaborate with product engineering to troubleshoot issues
- Support releases and smooth deployment processes
- Participate in on-call rotations and act as production escalation point
- Lead or contribute to incident response and post-mortems for long-term improvements
Key requirements
- Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- Strong hands-on AWS production experience
- Proven experience managing Windows Server infrastructure (preferably in AWS)
- Experience with patching, vulnerability remediation, and security event handling
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting production systems
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and support production workloads
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams
