Overview
As Head of Sales, you lead a high-performing sponsorship sales team across international events in renewables.
You drive sponsorship revenue, nurture long-term client partnerships, and shape commercial strategies with Product, Marketing and Content teams.
You will cultivate value-driven relationships across Europe, the USA, Middle East and Asia, balancing new business with account growth.
You will work hands-on with key accounts while coaching others to perform at a high level, in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the sponsorship sales team alongside other Heads of Sales
- Carry and deliver your own sponsorship sales target while fulfilling leadership duties
- Own and deliver sponsorship revenue targets with strong pacing, forecasting and discipline
- Foster a consultative, long-term account growth approach rather than transactional selling
- Develop clear account strategies to grow relationships across events, products and markets
- Drive repeat and new business to maintain balance between account development and prospecting
- Collaborate to improve sponsorship propositions, pricing, packaging and opportunities
- Ensure Salesforce is used effectively to manage pipelines, accounts and forecasts
- Provide weekly and monthly forecasting, flag risks and opportunities early
- Engage with customers and market feedback to inform event/product development
- Collaborate with Marketing, Content and Product to align customer needs with opportunities
- Lead by example, supporting major opportunities and strategic accounts
- Key requirements
- B2B event sponsorship, exhibition or conference sales background
- 1–2 years’ experience leading or coaching a sales team
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience growing key accounts and winning new business
- Consultative selling approach with ability to translate objectives into solutions
- Strong commercial judgement including pricing, negotiation and complex deals
- Confidence using Salesforce or a similar CRM for pipeline and forecasting
- Strong forecasting discipline and ability to spot risks/opportunities early
- Experience across international markets; energy/renewables sector experience advantageous
