INFORM3 are recruiting for a SHEQ Manager to join a busy civils contractor based in Belfast working on water-based projects around Northern Ireland and the UK. Occasional travel will be required to the UK as necessary.
SHEQ Manager Role:
- Undertaking SHEQ site inspections and audits
- Providing support to the site teams with the preparation & review of paperwork including Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Inductions and Toolbox Talks
- Developing the pre-start SHEQ plans and site files
- Assisting with administration of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001)
- Assisting with Incident reporting and accident trend analysis
- Attending all relevant training as required
- Flagging training requirements identified through trends to the SHEQ Officer
- Assisting with upkeep of various Health & Safety Accreditations
- Monitoring sub-contractors
- Attendance of SHEQ and site meetings when required
SHEQ Manager Job Requirements:
- Qualification to NEBOSH level with 3+ years experience within the construction industry
- Experience of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001
- Experience working within the water industry
- Full driving licence
- Ability to use experience and knowledge to deliver leading and best SHEQ practice for projects from start to finish
- Ability to motivate project teams to hit KPIs based on current data
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of the construction industry
