INFORM3 have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a range of infrastructure and construction projects across Fermanagh and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role offering long-term career progression, working alongside an experienced team to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Civil Engineer Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise civil engineering works from commencement through to completion.
- Set out works and ensure all construction activities are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and assist with planning to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to maintain efficient site operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the project.
- Assist with procurement, material scheduling, and resource planning.
- Support the commercial team with measurements and project reporting where required.
Civil Engineer Requirements
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a civil engineering role.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Experience working on infrastructure, utilities, road, drainage, or groundworks projects.
- Full UK/Irish driving licence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is advantageous.
