INFORM3are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join an established construction team in Belfast.
This is a hands‑on role supporting project teams, site management and subcontractors to ensure high standards of health & safety are maintained across ongoing projects.
Health & Safety Advisor Responsibilities
- Provide professional H&S advice to site and project teams.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance checks.
- Review and monitor RAMS, risk assessments and construction phase plans.
- Ensure compliance with relevant H&S legislation and CDM requirements.
- Assist with incident/accident investigations and corrective actions.
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and H&S training.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and documentation.
- Identify hazards and work with site teams to implement effective control measures.
- Maintain accurate H&S records, reports and documentation.
- Promote a strong and proactive safety culture across projects.
Health & Safety Advisor Specifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within construction or civil engineering.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM Regulations.
- Experience conducting site inspections, audits and reviewing RAMS.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident working with site teams, subcontractors and management.
- Full UK driving licence.
- IOSH membership and/or additional construction H&S qualifications desirable.
