Tyrone Salary Competitive Based on Experience About the Company: A leading Manufacturing company located in Tyrone is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. The successful candidates will play a key role in the design and development of company projects. You will be tasked with providing effective and innovative product and project design solutions to ensure the company remain a market leader within the industries they work in. You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager on a regular basis and will be essential in guiding projects through all phases. Roles & Responsibilities: Develop maintain and amend mechanical design drawings using 3D CAD Software packages. Ensure all drawings and designs meet company standards. Support specific projects ensuring timescales and budget requirements are achieved. Produce mechanical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs and business objectives. Design manufacturing equipment and projects for company clients. Liaising with clients and other functional workplace departments to ensure intent is met and drawing approval is achieved as efficiently as possible. Relay information about the status of the project with the senior design team and the project managers. Ensure all health and safety requirements are took into consideration throughout the design process. Skills & Experience: Degree Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. 3-4+ years experience in mechanical Design Engineering within materials handling industry. Understanding of Mechanical systems in manufacturing industry. Experience and knowledge of SolidWorks / AutoCAD. Knowledge of production of BOM. Understanding of automation and control systems in an industrial environment. Ability to work well and contribute within a team. Good attention to detail. Be proactive and positive in work.
