INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for a Site Engineer for a new build school steel frame project valued at £9m located in Belfast. The salary is negotiable.
About the Company:
INFORM3 construction recruitment are working on behalf of a Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor which is currently active on multiple exciting projects around the Belfast area. They provide first-class workmanship and deliver high-quality construction projects across a range of public and private sectors, including health, education, sport and leisure, retail and office blocks, arts and culture, social and private housing, ecclesiastical, transport and tourism markets, delivering construction excellence throughout Ireland. My client has a reputation for delivering interesting projects with long-term security.
They are keen to chat to engineers with 3+ years of experience.
The Role:
- Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure they are done to a high standard.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks for the project.
- Supervise trades on site and act as a point of contact for subcontractors, architects, and clients.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met and adhered to on site.
- Support the Project Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Construction Management & Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience with a Main Contractor.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works coordination.
