About the Company
The warehouse administrator will be primarily responsible for organising and preparing despatches, arranging transport in and out, recording deliveries, managing stock and ensuring competitive transport rates.
The candidate will also be expected to identify costs savings and process improvements. This role requires a hands-on approach with excellent communication skills.
Duties Include
- Preparing delivery notes, despatches and invoices, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Physically picking and preparing finished goods for daily despatch.
- Recording stock in and out and ensuring stock levels are accurate.
- Managing and maintaining stock at multiple locations.
- Assist in tracking inventory levels, resolving discrepancies, and generating stock reports
- Organising shipping in and out.
- Ensuring competitive transport rates are attained.
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and customers to manage delivery schedules and resolve queries.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse management systems.
- Clean drivers' licence.
- Must be willing to drive company van on occasion.
- High levels of numeracy and literacy.
- Possess excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and timely
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with teams and external contacts.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and with a positive attitude to flexible working.
- Must have excellent IT skills.
