INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Manager for a watermains project in the Midlands England. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a Northern Irish client with over 35 years’ specialist experience in the construction industry. The client treats every project with the greatest respect and places all focus to finish the work to perfection. The client requires a candidate that is able to manage civil teams, ensure projects reach targets and preferably with knowledge of utilities/watermains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to Senior Management
  • Ensure the site is run as per the Project Plan
  • Maintain a strong health and safety presence on site to ensure that the site complies with current legislation
  • Supervise and coordinate the site teams and motivate them to reach targets and deadlines
  • Complete the site diary, allocation sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets
  • Assist in emergency situations as directed by site management
  • Attend site and progress meetings
  • Liaise with the Management Team, passing on relevant information regarding site progress
  • Complete any other relevant duties

Job Specification:

  • Construction or Civil Engineering Background
  • 3 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Experience in civils projects
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
