Inform3 are recruiting for a Site Manager to join a large civil contractor working on renewable and civil projects in Northern Ireland – with occasional site visits across Ireland. The client is seeking a Site Manager to join their expanding team. They are looking for someone that is able to handle responsibility and work off their own initiative in a busy working environment.
Site Manager Requirements:
- Plan and oversee the construction process, ensuring all on-site activities are effectively managed.
- Monitor project progress, ensure schedules are met, and collaborate with quantity surveyors to track and manage costs.
- Procure and allocate equipment and materials, while supervising their usage and managing the workforce.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and clients to coordinate project requirements.
- Adhere to legal standards, safety protocols, and design specifications while maintaining detailed records and daily logs.
- Direct labourers and subcontractors to ensure tasks are executed efficiently.
- Implement and uphold safety measures, minimising risks, and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment and other safety gear.
- Perform routine safety inspections to maintain a secure construction site.
- Apply quality control processes to meet project standards.
Site Manager Job Specification:
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
- 5 years+ management experience
- Current CSR Card
- Experience in managing multiple civil teams and projects
- Highly organised
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Fantastic communicator
- Confident in using Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
- Full Driving License
