Inform3 are recruiting for a SHEQ Advisor to join a large & busy civils contractor based in Laois. Reporting to the Senior SHEQ Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for health and safety, environmental and quality assurance on construction projects.
SHEQ Advisor Job Requirements:
- Conduct safety audits, inspections and investigations
- Ensure regular risk assessments are completed and all accidents are recorded
- Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, rules and regulations are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
- Maintain and update all relevant SHEQ admin.
- Compile reports and ensure compliance is consistently maintained
- Plan and coordinate SHEQ related training for employees
SHEQ Advisor Job Specification:
- Min. Certificate Level in Environmental Management
- NEBOSH OHAS Qualification Certificate
- 2 years relevant experience in a similar Health and Safety role
- Previous experience in the civil engineering industry a preference
- Experience of co-ordinating Health and Safety, ISO Quality Standards, Internal Auditing Experience
- Conducting risk assessments and corresponding corrective action plans
- High level of administrative / IT Skills
- Full Driving Licence
