INFORM3 are recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer on behalf of a leading building contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineering professional to join a growing contractor working on high-profile projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Senior Engineer or Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of engineering projects from planning through to completion.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
- Oversee engineering activities, technical compliance, and quality assurance.
- Manage project resources, procurement, and programme updates.
- Monitor project costs and support commercial reporting and valuations.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, design teams, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and site management teams.
Senior Engineer Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years' experience with main contractor
- Previous experience as a Senior Engineer or Project Manager.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Full driving licence.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects to demanding programmes.
