About the Company:
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our reputable client company that is based in Belfast that are rapidly expanding at the moment. You will be responsible for performing planned maintenance, routines and reactive repairs on a range of manufacturing equipment. If you feel this role is suited to you, then don’t hesitate to get in touch! This role may require operating on rotating 3-shifts as well as on-call rotas.
Duties Include:
- Utilise mechanical drawings and specifications when working with equipment.
- Mechanical faults are repaired on plant equipment in a timely manner.
- Maintenance and repair of material handling equipment, presses, mixers, packers, weighers etc.
- Maintenance and repair of pneumatic and hydraulic controlled equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities in line with PM programme.
- Maintenance and repair of domestic elements within the mill and office accommodation.
- Conduct remedial work throughout the mill and offices, i.e. removal of redundant equipment, modernisation thereof.
- Ensure tools are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Effective liaison with production on breakdown repair, maintenance and priority of breakdown.
- Accurate completion of records / documentation as required.
- Adherence to all health, safety and environmental procedures.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualification in a mechanical discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience within an automated plant.
- Previous experience within the agrifood industry.
- Experience of plant installation.
- Experience of pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and on your own.
