Mechanical Contracts Manager Belfast £50-60k
INFORM3 is recruiting for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day running of various contracts within our client’s Mechanical Team.
You will be managing the activities of a team of Engineers to ensure the successful, timely and cost-effective completion of all works, providing technical guidance and ensuring that the work of the section meets company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to team members
- Ensure works are completed on time and to the right quality
- Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within each contract
- Ensure engineers are working productively completing reactive jobs on-site, and providing technical support where needed.
- Ensure stakeholders on the site are kept updated at all times.
- Completing regular meetings with the engineers
- Review and approve all rams
- Ensure the provision of a healthy and safe working environment and that both the clients and the Company health and safety policy and processes are effectively implemented
- Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across the contract
Experience required
- Minimum 5 years in Engineering Management (Building Services / Mechanical)
- Proven track record in delivering effective customer service whilst maintaining appropriate operating margins
- Hard working, outgoing and confident team player, who takes pride in their work, capable of showing initiative and is able to think quickly and commercially on their feet.
- Proven record of managing, motivating, developing and retaining a dispersed workforce both directly and through others.
- Experience in overseeing projects, manging teams and working towards health and safety standards.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage conflicting priorities and work well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
