About the Company
A client manufacturing company based in Co. Antrim are currently on the lookout for a motivated and hard-working individual to join their maintenance team.
You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure high operational standards.
This role is great for a proactive, forward-thinking individual looking to take a step forward in a diverse and successful organisation and carry out all engineering work to a high quality. This role will consist of working Monday – Thursday with an early finish on a Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure high operational standards including welding rectifiers, wire feed units, robots, assembly jigs, laser cutting machines.
- Provide reactive maintenance to plant equipment as needed i.e. Troubleshooting and repair of machinery in the factory.
- Fabrication of equipment upgrades.
- Receive support tickets for breakdowns and see them through to completion.
- Ordering of spares.
- Stock taking of spares.
- Communicate with colleagues, external contractors and suppliers to ensure plant equipment uptime.
- Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Essential Criteria
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- To be able to Work at heights.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Excellent communication skills.
