We are looking for Mechanical Site Supervisors able to manage and assess the day-to-day workload on large scale residential and apartment projects within the Dublin area.
Candidates will need to be fully qualified in mechanical engineering and ideally from a trades background, with at least three years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Duties Include:- Undertake regular inspections of Mechanical works to ensure compliance with specification
- Liaison with QS/ Contract Managers - on site performance, progress, records, issues, correspondence, applications
- Monitoring of progress, handover records, history of subcontractor changes and issues.
- Assist in resolving on-site Mechanical technical queries with production team.
- Attend collaborative planning meetings; Co-ordinate trade interfaces and working sequences including activities affecting / affected by commissioning
- Be able to Co-ordinate relevant Mechanical trades
- Organise direct and sub contract labour
- Supervise direct and sub-contractors
- Organise materials procurement schedules/call offs
- Be able to produce weekly progress reports
- Attend and contribute to weekly site meetings
- An industry relevant City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or above
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing sites
- Ability to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviours with regards to site Health and Safety
- Mechanical Engineering/plumbing background
- IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience of supervising staff and 3rd parties is essential
- Good understanding of building services including design principles, method statements, inspection test plans, risk assessments, commissioning, and handover requirements
