One of Northern Ireland’s leading contractors in their field requires an experienced Planner to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will manage the programming aspect of projects from procurement to final account stage, ensuring projects stay on or ahead of programme and are continuously monitored and reported to the highest standard.

The Role

  • Producing programmes of a high quality which meet Company & Client expectations, within time allocated and in line with project deadlines.
  • Providing guidance and assistance to sales and support team.
  • Taking ownership / responsibility for relevant assigned projects.
  • Liaising with external customers and internal team.
  • Liaising with equipment manufacturers/suppliers as and when required.
  • Regular reporting on project progress to management team on a project and portfolio analysis basis.
  • Monitor progress of programmes and highlight areas of concern with site teams, proposing mitigation measures where required.
  • Report any planning issues to the senior project manager and site management team.

What you need

  • Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years construction planning experience.
  • Experience at both the tender and contract stages of projects.
  • Possess a good understanding of the construction process and how a project comes together.
  • Strong communication skills.
