About the Company:
You will be reporting to the Technical Manager where you will be working within a Site Technical Team to ensure technical requirements are met, both on the factory floor and in relation to associated documentation.
The role offers opportunities for progression within the company as well as scope for development within your career.
Duties Include:
- Implementation, maintenance and follow up of site Quality Systems and HACCP.
- Monthly trend analysis, document control, internal auditing and traceability exercises.
- Completion of internal and retailer specifications.
- Assist the monitoring of food safety and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Creating product sampling schedules, including micro sampling, allergen swabbing, organising lab testing and collating results.
- Technical KPI tracking and reporting of performance to Senior Management.
- Supplier approval monitoring for Ingredients and Packaging.
- Assist with internal and external auditing including BRC.
- Carry out Root Cause Analysis with the Production team into non-conformances.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Degree or equivalent in a food-science related discipline.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledge and experience of Audits including BRC.
- Strong Communication Skills with the ability to work within cross functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities when required.
