INFORM3 Recruitment — HSEQ Manager
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a HSEQ Manager for a busy civils contractor based in Tyrone. The client is well known throughout the construction industry for high-quality workmanship and an organised approach to each project. The successful candidate will be familiar with Health & Safety practices within construction and will manage Health & Safety Officers / Advisors.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager
- Manage, update and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Develop all Health and Safety plans, highlighting any specific requirements for each project
- Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
- Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors, maintaining clear communication
- Ensure regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed with relevant paperwork
- Ensure all accidents/incidents are recorded, investigated and action plans are put in place for the future
- Liaise with internal and external auditors regarding Health & Safety processes
- Prepare and coordinate training for all employees, ensuring staff are up to date
- Attend meetings with Senior Management
- Attend Site Meetings
- Attend and Chair Health & Safety Meetings
- Maintain extremely high standards throughout the company
HSEQ Manager Specification
- BSc in Health and Safety / Higher Diploma
- 4 years plus experience in the Construction Industry
- Able to manage a Health & Safety team
- Excellent communicator
- NEBOSH Diploma
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
