INFORM3 Recruitment Health & Safety Manager – Location: Belfast – Sector: Civil
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for a busy civils client to cover construction projects based in Belfast. They are looking a candidate to contribute to the Health & Safety coordination across the organisation, and in addition support and develop their policies to reduce potential risks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Develop all Health and Safety plans to align with current legislations
- Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
- Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors
- Ensure that regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
- Ensure that all accidents / incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations
- Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to Health & Safety processes within the company
- Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
- Attend meetings with Senior Management
- Attend Site Meetings
- Ensure at all times that extremely high standards are maintained throughout the company
Requirements
- Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
- 5 years plus experience in a similar position
- Able to manage a Health & Safety team
- Excellent communicator
- NEBOSH Cert
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
