Project: New Build Residential
Job Location: Co. Louth
Salary: €60K - €75K + package (Salary Negotiable based on experience)
About the Company:
Very busy Main Contractor specialising in high volume residential developments across the Leinster Region. My client had a fantastic growth period last year which is already set to continue throughout 2024/2025 with multiple new sites starting in North Leinster region.
They now require a strong Finishing Foreman to oversee the successful completion of a new build development with 2 years minimum on the project. Ideally would like to chat to Foremen with experience overseeing the completion of new build housing developments with 100+ units, working with large on site teams and turning over houses at a fast pace to a high standard.
The Role:
- Coordination and supervision of construction activities on site.
- Oversee installation of internal packages and manage manpower on site including direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
- Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site.
- Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
- Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
- Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trades Qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience managing new build developments.
- Carpentry/Joinery background is desirable.
- Experience with early construction stages – emphasis on piling.
- Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
- Strong I.T skills are essential (Microsoft Suite including Project).
