Civils Design Engineer Derry/Londonderry Β£40-50k
Civils & Structural Design Engineer to support multiple infrastructure and utilities frameworks for a nationwide client base.
You will likely have between 3+ years of post-graduation design experience with the ability to think through complex problems and embrace creative and appropriate solutions and strong analysis, engineering design and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implementation
- Preparation of high-quality outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other documentation
- Produce clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables
- Develop and grow experience using innovative new solutions using the latest design software and 3D techniques
- Work in collaboration with clients, contractors, the supply chain and other project stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree educated in a relevant discipline
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with industry-standard design software
- 3+ Years of experience working in the Civils sector
- Have previous experience in the Infrastructure / Utilities industry
- Highly motivated and can influence outcomes
- Technical management skills with a focus on quality, scope, schedule, and cost control
- Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and present for discussion
