Civils Groundworker
Job Location: Belfast

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Civil Groundworker for utility projects in the Greater Belfast area. The client is a widely recognised Civil Engineering Contractor that has a long-standing history within Northern Ireland and continually growing year on year.

The client requires a candidate with previous experience, preferably in the civils industry particularly on projects involving utilities such as water.

Civils Groundworker Job Spec:

• Lead a skilled groundworks team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard of quality.
• Collaborate closely with contract managers and the team to ensure timely project completion.
• Support the installation and repair of underground utilities, like water and sewer systems.
• Use hand tools and power equipment, such as shovels, rakes, jackhammers, and compactors.
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and in good condition
• Work proactively as a team player, providing support to the groundworks team when needed.
• Attend client meetings and manage material orders to meet site requirements.
• Oversee the completion of all Health & Safety documentation, ensuring the team adheres to safety protocols and maintains compliance on site.

Civils Groundworker Job Requirements:

• 1+ year experience in Groundworks
• Experience in main contracting
• Advantageous to come from a trades background
• Responsibility
• Team Work
