Our client is recruiting for an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their team after winning a number of new projects. In this role, the contracts manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of designated works from initial client contact through to installation. The ideal candidate will have progressed through to a contracts/project management position from an electrical trades background. This role will be mostly office based with occasional site visits nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver multiple projects simultaneously within agreed scope, schedule, budget while delivering a great quality product to our customers.
  • Create project initiation documentation, project budgets, project programs and relevant H&S documentation.
  • Stakeholder management, supporting clients and stakeholders with permit and licence applications.
  • Ensuring full compliance to all relevant statutory and regulatory guidance standards.
  • Providing weekly reports for meetings with managers and stakeholders.
  • Develop a good working relationship with contractors.
  • Contract supervision including issuing purchase orders, verifying variation requests and processing payments.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years as an Electrical Contracts Manager.
  • Strong background managing electrical projects for an M&E or electrical contractor.
  • Comfortable working to meet tight deadlines whilst balancing multiple priorities and projects.
  • Varied knowledge of electrical systems including EV Chargers and renewable energy technologies.
  • Able to work with a range of stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Excellent written communication.
  • Good IT skills especially with MS Office software.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts.
