This Accounts Office Assistant role is a brilliant opportunity for someone either at the start of their career or looking for a career change, as no experience is required. You’ll report to an experienced manager who focuses on ensuring great morale within the team – it’s social, so it’s for someone who likes a lively working environment. With structured training delivered to you on the job, you’ll provide accounts receivable support to a region of branches. You’ll match incoming payments with outstanding invoices, manually input branch payments into the system and upload payments onto the company’s in-house software. It’s a computer-based role, mainly liaising with internal teams and customers via email, but occasionally, you will speak to people over the phone. Your hours will be 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday, and you’ll have one hour for lunch. There’s free parking on-site.
