About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Bookkeeper for an initial 6-month contract to join our team. This role offers flexibility and is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our Finance Director and Accounting Manager to support daily financial operations. This position is perfect for someone who values the long-term impact of finance operations, has a strong work ethic, loves numbers, and is eager to grow professionally.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including processing invoices, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Manage purchase ledger activities, payment processing, vendor setup, subscription revenue, and bank payments and reconciliations.
- Help track subscription-based revenue and recurring invoices.
- Assist with payroll, pension, and employee expense processing.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely financial reporting and data accuracy.
- Contribute to monthly closing activities and support financial processes.
- Assist the Finance Director with system changes and administration.
- Learn how finance integrates with other departments such as Sales and Customer Success.
