About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to support, maintain, and continuously improve inforcer’s Microsoft-first internal environment. You’ll be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Microsoft 365 tenant, Azure services, and network environment to ensure they remain reliable, secure, and effective for the team. You’ll also provide day-to-day support for the team, acting as the senior escalation point, and help shape what great internal IT looks like. Given our size and growth, this role has broad ownership across the IT stack and is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work and shaping internal IT standards. This role sits at the intersection of IT operations, support, and security.
What you’ll be doing
- Microsoft 365 and Identity
- Manage and administer our Microsoft 365 tenant across Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Defender
- Configure and maintain Conditional Access, identity protection, device compliance, and baseline policies
- Handle user lifecycle tasks, access controls, PAM/PIM, and role-based permissions
- Ensure the tenant stays aligned with best practice and internal standards
- Azure
- Support and maintain internal Azure resources
- Manage subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, networking, and cost governance
- Provide operational support for app services, storage, automation, and related services
- Work with engineering teams to support Azure requirements
- Networking
- Support internal networking, connectivity, and office network operations
- Troubleshoot and maintain firewalls, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, and site-to-site connections
- Act as the escalation point for network-related issues
- End‑user and internal support
- Own and refine end‑user support standards, while acting as the escalation point for complex issues
- Support Windows and macOS devices, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Focus on resolving root causes to minimise recurring issues
- Contribute to improving IT processes, standards, and end‑user experience
- Security and posture
- Support security best practices within internal IT
- Monitor and improve Secure Score and Defender posture as part of regular operations
- Support leadership in assessing risk and applying practical controls
- Automation and improvement
- Automate common support tasks using PowerShell, Graph, Intune, or Azure tooling
- Maintain documentation, standards, and runbooks
- Look for ways to simplify and improve internal IT workflows

Skills We Need for This Role
- Core Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 Administration (specifically Entra ID & Intune)
- Proven experience supporting modern workplace environments at scale
- Confident troubleshooting across identity, endpoint, network, and cloud services
- Desirable Experience
- Experience working with Drata or a similar compliance automation platform
- Exposure to managing Azure services in an operational or support capacity
- Experience managing macOS devices through Intune or another MDM such as Jamf or Kandji
- Technical Skills
- Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams
- Administration of Azure services in a support capacity
- Windows and macOS device management, including MDM solutions such as Intune, Jamf, or Kandji
- PowerShell and basic automation using Graph or REST APIs
- Networking fundamentals including VPNs, DNS, Wi‑Fi, and firewalls
- Experience with compliance tools such as Drata is a plus
