About the Role

We’re looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to join the inforcer team. The Legal Counsel will act as a trusted business partner to Sales, Partnerships, and Finance across multiple regions, while working closely with the Chief Legal Officer to ensure consistency, risk management, and scalable legal processes. What you’ll be doing

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including:
    • SaaS customer agreements
    • MSP / partner agreements
    • Channel and reseller contracts
    • NDAs, DPAs, MSAs, SOWs
  • Join sales calls where required to:
    • Unblock late‑stage deals
    • Explain legal positions pragmatically
    • Support enterprise and strategic negotiations
  • Act as first‑line legal support for the sales and partner teams.
  • Own contract turnaround times for commercial deals.
  • Improve contract templates and playbooks.
  • Partner with Sales Ops / RevOps to streamline contracting workflows.
  • Ensure commercial terms align with pricing, product, and GTM strategy.
  • Support data protection and privacy matters (US + international customers).
  • Work alongside the Chief Legal Officer and Head of Security, Compliance & IT on:
    • SOC 2 readiness and audits
    • Other compliance frameworks, including CMMC/NIST 800‑171 and ISO 27001
    • Security questionnaires and customer due diligence
  • Escalate material risk appropriately while enabling commercial progress.
  • Coordinate and oversee corporate filings, annual reports, and state registrations.
  • Maintain good standing across applicable jurisdictions, including tracking deadlines and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with board governance materials, resolutions, and corporate recordkeeping where required.
  • Partner with Finance, Tax, and external advisors on entity compliance, structure, and regulatory obligations.
  • Provide ad‑hoc support on employment law matters such as:
    • Contract templates
    • Policy updates
    • Basic employee relations queries

Skills We Need for This Role

Required

  • 3‑5 years PQE (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience negotiating SaaS and enterprise contracts
  • Familiarity with data protection and privacy law matters
  • Comfortable partnering directly with Sales and exec stakeholders

Helpful but Not Essential

  • In‑house commercial experience (SaaS / tech & US experience preferred)
  • Exposure to US and EU law in a commercial environment
  • Experience supporting international or UK‑based leadership teams
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support other time zones on occasion
  • Familiarity with MSP, channel, or partner‑led sales motions
  • Experience in scale‑up or Series B–D environments
