About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. You will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing backend systems that power our cybersecurity solutions. You will work closely with the development team to ensure our backend infrastructure is scalable, secure and efficient.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and implement robust, scalable and high-performance backend architectures
- Develop APIs and services to support our platform’s functionality and integration
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues
- Collaborate with Frontend Engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Optimise system performance and ensure minimal downtime
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in backend development

Skills We Need for This Role:
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, VS Code, and database management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft 365 policy management

- Hands-on experience with programming languages like PowerShell, .NET, JavaScript, SQL
- Working knowledge of cloud-based providers like Azure/AWS/GCP, Service Bus messaging
