This Restructuring Director role sits within the Credit & Risk team, part of Group Risk & Compliance, which provides independent oversight across the Private Credit platform. Reporting to the Head of Credit, the role partners with lending and portfolio management teams throughout the lending lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Primary management of a portfolio of distressed, underperforming, and strategic exit relationships across the Private Credit platform
- Develop and execute restructuring, recovery, and exit strategies balancing commercial outcomes with investor protection
- Lead negotiations with borrowers, sponsors, and advisers during restructuring situations
- Monitor performance against agreed restructuring plans
- Work collaboratively across credit underwriting, portfolio monitoring, restructuring, recoveries, and assurance functions across all Private Credit lending strategies
