Role Overview
Entrepreneurs First (EF), the talent investor and venture builder backed by Reid Hoffman and Greylock Partners, is hiring a Talent Investor for its London team. Unlike a typical VC associate role that evaluates existing startups, this position sits at the very top of the venture funnel — sourcing and backing ambitious individuals before they have even formed a company.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and select high-potential individuals from elite tracks such as strategy consulting, big tech, and institutional programs.
- Build a deep, ongoing pipeline of future founders through relationships across Europe's leading universities and industries.
- Support prospective founders during the ideation phase, helping them stress-test business models and find co-founders through EF's program.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience at a top-tier firm such as McKinsey, BCG, Goldman Sachs, or a Tier 1 growth equity fund.
- A demonstrated ability to identify \"edge\" in individuals, paired with genuine interest in early-stage venture capital and company building.
- A background from a leading UK or European university, or experience in an elite program such as the UK Civil Service Fast Stream.
