The Pension Protection Fund (PPF), one of the UK's largest institutional investors with over £30 billion in assets under management protecting 400,000+ pension scheme members, is seeking an Investment Associate to join its Private Markets Team in London.

The role focuses on the Infrastructure asset class, with approximately US$1 billion expected to be deployed over the next two years. The Associate will support the Portfolio Manager across all portfolio management activities, with particular emphasis on infrastructure co-investments: monitoring and reporting on key portfolio metrics, supporting the underwriting of co-investment, direct investment, and fund opportunities, and engaging with external managers and co-investors.

Required qualifications include:

  • Experience in the infrastructure asset class within an investment or finance environment
  • Strong understanding of investment concepts and deal evaluation
  • Advanced Excel skills for returns forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The PPF has won the IPE UK Pension Fund of the Year award three times in seven years. Visa sponsorship is not available. The role is based at Cannon Street, London.
