The firm manages eight funds across three products β Venture Growth, Growth Debt, and Direct Secondary β and is headquartered in London with offices in New York and Tel Aviv.
Its Growth Debt fund provides venture lending solutions to high-growth, VC-backed technology companies across Europe.
Flashpoint is hiring an Investment Director for the Growth Debt fund.
This is a senior, high-ownership role covering the full investment lifecycle β from origination and underwriting through IC approval, legal close, and portfolio management.
The successful candidate will lead investment transactions independently, articulating an investment thesis and driving deals from first conversation to funded close.
Investment Execution responsibilities include coordinating and leading the full deal lifecycle (origination, screening, financial assessment and modelling, due diligence, IC presentation and documentation through to close), structuring and negotiating term sheets, credit agreements, warrant instruments and security packages, presenting investment recommendations at Investment Committee, and contributing to the strategic development of the Growth Debt product.
On the Portfolio & Relationships side, the Director will act as the fund's primary relationship holder with portfolio companies, maintain working relationships with founders and management teams, participate in board meetings where applicable, monitor portfolio performance (covenant compliance, draw requests, amendments, risk management through repayment or exit), and develop a senior-level network within the regional VC ecosystem.
The role also carries Team & Leadership duties: mentoring junior members of the investment team and contributing to continuous improvement of fund processes and procedures.
The successful candidate reports directly to the fund's Partners, with genuine ownership of deal flow and investment decisions from day one on a lean, senior team based in London with a European and US coverage mandate.
