Role Overview
Triple Point is hiring an Associate Director β Credit to join its Credit & Risk team in London. The team sits within the Group Risk & Compliance function and provides independent oversight across Triple Point's Private Credit platform, partnering with lending and portfolio management teams throughout the lending lifecycle. Triple Point manages more than Β£2.5 billion across five investment strategies β Private Credit, Social Housing, Clean Heat, Energy and Venture β for retail and institutional clients, and employs 230+ people. The firm is a certified B Corp and a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own portfolio review processes with portfolio management teams, identifying risk and emerging trends across all lending strategies
- Exercise delegated authority for non-material credit requests, escalating where thresholds are exceeded
- Contribute to watchlist and early warning indicator processes, flagging deteriorating credits
- Partner with origination teams to evaluate new lending opportunities and review credit papers ahead of Credit Committee submission
- Prepare and present portfolio health and performance reporting for senior stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement of credit processes, including automation and AI-enabled workflows
Qualifications
- Significant experience in credit risk, credit analysis or portfolio management within lending, private credit, or credit advisory
- Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills, with the ability to review and challenge credit papers
- Experience with portfolio monitoring or review processes and delegated credit decision authority
- Degree-level education; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desirable: experience in private credit, alternative or direct lending; mid-market/SME lending exposure; watchlist or early-warning framework experience; exposure to AI-enabled credit/risk tools
