Goldman Sachs Alternatives is seeking an Analyst to join the Private Credit Investing team in London. Goldman Sachs Private Credit is one of the world's largest alternative credit investing platforms with investment professionals based in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. The platform originates investments and invests third-party capital across senior secured loans, mezzanine/unsecured debt, and other private credit strategies.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) is one of the world's leading asset managers with over $2.8 trillion in assets under supervision globally. The Alternatives platform invests in the full spectrum of alternatives including private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support origination, evaluation and execution of private credit investment opportunities
  • Conduct financial analysis, credit analysis, and due diligence on potential investments
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal committees
  • Monitor portfolio companies and assist with portfolio management activities
  • Build and maintain financial models for credit analysis
  • Work alongside senior investment professionals across the platform

The ideal candidate has a strong academic background, experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, or direct lending, and excellent financial modelling and analytical skills. The role offers direct exposure to private credit investing across multiple strategies within Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
