Waystone is a leading global asset-servicing solutions provider seeking a Managing Director, Private Markets to define and execute its global private markets product strategy across private equity, private credit, and real assets. The role is responsible for driving commercial growth, strategic partnerships, and market positioning for Waystone across the rapidly expanding global private markets sector. The successful candidate will mobilise Waystone's global platform to deliver an integrated value proposition across regulated fund solutions, including management company services, governance oversight, distribution enablement, and fund administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Waystone's global private markets growth strategy across private equity, private credit, and real assets.
  • Identify priority client segments, geographies, and product opportunities across Europe, the United States, and other international markets.
  • Shape the end-to-end product offering for private markets managers across the lifecycle of a fund.
  • Drive new client acquisition and revenue growth, partnering with the global client coverage and sales teams.
  • Lead strategic pursuits with key global managers and emerging managers, mid-market PE sponsors, private credit platforms, and large global asset managers.
  • Represent Waystone as a thought leader across the global private markets ecosystem.
  • Create a defined plan around retailisation of private markets including development of relationships with complementary distribution partners.

Requirements

  • Significant senior leadership experience in private equity, private credit, or real asset fund management or fund services.
  • Deep understanding of the global private markets landscape and institutional investor needs.
  • Proven track record in commercial growth and business development within fund services or asset management.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-suite and institutional clients.
  • Experience across multiple jurisdictions including Europe and North America.
