About This Role:
Nova Founders Capital is a global operational investment group that creates and invests in business models of the future. The management team has started 30+ companies over the last 10 years and has exited companies through sale and IPO, backed by investors such as Goldman Sachs, Alibaba, Peter Thiel, and The World Bank.
We have created the opportunity to become a Partner through a Search Fund. Besides investing in and building large-scale fast-growing business models, we have created an investment vehicle to invest in the right founders and CEOs to find a business venture they can excel in and support them in their journey to create extraordinary companies.
Nova Founders Capital is searching for experienced or aspiring Partners for their Search Funds. You will have the unique opportunity to acquire or start new companies to expand our existing portfolio or become a Partner of an existing company within our portfolio.
You will become part of an ambitious network and have a dedicated Board of Directors consisting of experienced founders, board members, and CEOs that have started, acquired, built, and exited various companies.
You will receive both great upside in your work with a compensation geared mostly towards equity of 10-20% depending on the business, and a base salary of up to 80K GBP.
As a Partner, you will have the sole responsibility of building and growing your business. Specific tasks vary according to the specific stage and company, and will include:
- Build, lead, develop, and motivate an exceptional team
- Define and execute strategies to drive results across all functions
- Recruit the right people and constantly develop the employee
- Be fully responsible for the P&L and day-to-day operations
- Exceptional drive and desire to be the best at what you do
- Proactive approach and sense of ownership/responsibility of everything you do
- A humble approach and share our passion for building companies and developing people
- Interested in continuous learning and proactively searching for ways to optimise
Requirements:
- Min. a bachelor or master degree with great results
- 3-7 years at a top tier consulting firm, investment bank, start-up, or company
