Goldman Sachs Asset Management Private Credit is seeking a Vice President to join the Investment Grade Corporate Credit team in London. GSAM Private Credit is one of the world's largest alternative credit investing platforms with approximately $160bn of AUM and investment professionals based in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Investment Grade Corporate Credit (IG Corp) invests across corporate and infrastructure debt for global public and private companies with investment-grade profiles. The Vice President will play a central role across the investment lifecycle, including structuring, underwriting and executing transactions across diverse sectors, delivering tailored financing solutions through commingled funds and separately managed accounts on behalf of pension and insurance clients.

GSAM Private Credit is a dynamic platform with significant cross-pollination across strategies, including Direct Lending (middle market and large cap performing credit), Hybrid Capital, Asset Finance, Structured Corporate Credit and IG Corporate and Infrastructure Credit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute IG corporate credit transactions from origination through closing
  • Structure, underwrite and execute deals across a diverse set of sectors
  • Prepare investment memoranda and recommendations for the investment committee
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporates, advisors and co-investors
  • Monitor existing portfolio positions and manage credit risk
  • Collaborate across the broader GSAM Private Credit platform

The ideal candidate has 7-10+ years of full-time experience across debt capital markets, private placement or direct lending. Strong credit analysis skills, financial modelling capabilities and deal execution experience are essential.
