GIS is a division within Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), BlackRock's infrastructure investing arm with combined AUM of $180 billion. The team has executed over 250 investments since 2008 and maintains offices in New York, London, Zurich, Budapest and Hong Kong.

The Associate will support the underwriting, execution, and ongoing management of infrastructure multi-manager investments focused on secondaries and co-investments in Europe. The role is based in London with occasional travel.

  • Deal underwriting and execution responsibilities include conducting market research, developing complex financial models and analyses, coordinating commercial, legal and tax workstreams, collaborating with cross-functional resources, creating investment memos, and presenting investment recommendations to investment committees and clients.
  • Portfolio monitoring and management duties include covering GP relationships and preparing materials in support of performance reporting.

The team invests across a diversified set of infrastructure sectors — transportation and logistics, energy and power, digital infrastructure, environmental and social — as well as geographies globally.

GIS is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business that builds and implements outcome-oriented infrastructure private equity portfolios for institutional investors worldwide through secondaries, co-investments, and primary fund investments.
