PIMCO is seeking an experienced Real Estate Asset Management professional to join its growing alternatives team in London. The successful candidate will execute business plans for existing investments, drive the financial performance of residential and commercial property assets and portfolios, and prepare strategic recommendations to Investment Committees.
This London-based role sits within the Pan-European Asset Management Team and involves managing assets typically valued at €50 million and above, with exposure across the capital structure at various stages of the investment cycle.
Key Responsibilities:- End-to-end asset management across a diverse range of commercial real estate assets, ensuring alignment with asset-level and fund-level business plans
- Work closely with joint-venture partners and third-party service providers (property managers, leasing teams, investment agents) to drive performance
- Lead communication with external stakeholders including agents, brokers, property managers, vendors, and analysts
- Prepare hold/sell analyses for Investment Committee consideration and quarterly fund reporting
- Manage debt instruments across the portfolio and support refinancing decisions
- Contribute to pan-European market analysis and asset performance review
- Direct experience in real estate portfolio management is essential
- Strong preference for candidates with pan-European real estate exposure
- Advanced MS Excel modelling skills required
- Understanding of European property market sectors, cycles, and key performance drivers
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal colleagues and external advisors
