Ares Management is seeking an Associate for its Real Estate Asset Management team, based in London. The role focuses on driving value creation, monitoring performance, and executing business plans across a diversified European portfolio with a primary focus on pan-European retail and office assets.
The Associate will work closely with senior asset managers, investment teams, finance, and third-party operators and servicers to ensure high-quality analysis, reporting, governance, and disciplined execution throughout the asset lifecycle. The position supports assets across Europe, working across the full range of strategies including direct holdings, joint ventures, and co-investment vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing asset-level business plans in partnership with the wider deal team and external operating partners.
- Monitoring operating performance (NOI, occupancy, leasing velocity, renewals, arrears, operating expenses).
- Coordinating annual budgeting and quarterly IRR reforecasting processes.
- Helping identify and execute value creation initiatives.
- Monitoring capital expenditure programs.
- Supporting acquisitions onboarding, financing, refinancing, and exit execution.
