The Senior Functional Consultant enables clients to realise business value from Infor Cloud Suite solutions by leading functional consulting engagements, driving fit to standard designs, and promoting Food and Beverage industry best practices. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to manage requirements, improve business processes, and facilitate change within client organisations.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
- Conduct business process walkthroughs providing functional expertise in industry-aligned business processes such as manufacturing planning, scheduling, production, quality, and traceability processes within the food and beverage industry.
- Collaborates with both client and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
- Leadership in consultancy delivery and mentoring.
- Analyse complex situations or data involving multiple variable factors to resolve issues.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance and industry-specific standards.
- Planning, quality control, batch management, catch weight, and lot traceability to support Project Managers, technical resources, and project team members.
- Participate in pre‑sales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal development.
- Attend product functionality briefings and training sessions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and Infor product enhancements to advise clients on future improvements.
- Willingness to travel as required by client engagements.
- Application of PBM dimensions to drive impactful consulting outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Extensive customer‑facing ERP consulting experience.
- Broad knowledge of business process changes, with proven experience in Food & Beverage production and planning.
- Strong background of project/implementation experience with Infor CloudSuite ERP or similar ERP software.
- Knowledge of industry compliance requirements (e.g., traceability, lot management, shelf life).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and team collaboration.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and application of Principle Based Management (PBM) principles.
- Knowledge of AI driven improvements within F&B manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP integration tools and platforms (e.g., cloud‑based ERP suites, middleware, EDI).
- Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure or SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of change management practices during ERP implementations.
- Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Relevant ERP certifications or related credentials.
- Experience of implementing Infor’s CloudSuite, but also other ERP systems are meritorious e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Jeeves, IFS, Visma or similar systems.
