Infor is seeking an experienced Project Manager, to join our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) team in the UK. This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of MES implementation projects for manufacturing customers while providing day-to-day leadership and development support to a team of consultants.
A Typical Day In The Life Includes
- Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of MES implementation projects.
- Managing project scope, timelines, risks, budgets, and customer expectations.
- Acting as the primary escalation point for customer project-related issues.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customer stakeholders.
- Conducting project governance and project review meetings.
- Managing resource planning and forecasting activities across project teams.
- Reviewing project progress and ensuring successful achievement of customer objectives.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing consultants within the team.
- Conducting regular performance and development discussions with team members.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and growth of consulting resources.
- Collaborating with Sales and Pre-Sales teams on customer opportunities and project estimates.
- Supporting customer workshops, solution discussions, and implementation planning.
- Monitoring delivery KPIs, utilization, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Ensuring successful handover of projects into ongoing support services.
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to promote delivery excellence and best practices.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience managing software implementation or consulting projects.
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial technology, MES, or ERP environments.
- Demonstrated customer-facing project delivery experience.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, and risks.
- Experience leading or mentoring consulting or project delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced customer environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for customer engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing or supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Experience delivering ERP, manufacturing software, or digital transformation projects.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and shop-floor processes.
- Experience managing multi-site or global implementation projects.
- Previous experience within a software vendor, systems integrator, or consulting organization.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, workshops, and solution discovery sessions.
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing software solutions.
- Additional European language skills, particularly French.
