The Opportunity

We are seeking Workforce Transformation Consultants to join Infopro Learning's workforce transformation advisory practice across Europe and the Middle East, specialising in skills taxonomy, capability frameworks and career pathways. The successful candidates will work closely with client stakeholders to translate business and workforce strategy into skills-based structures, helping organisations understand their current capability, close skills gaps, and build practical frameworks that support the move towards a skills-based way of working.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build skills taxonomies aligned to a client's business and job architecture.
  • Develop capability and competency frameworks, and translate them into practical career pathways that employees and managers can act on.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to translate business and workforce strategy into skills-based structures and language.
  • Conduct skills gap analysis and workforce capability assessments to inform client decision-making.
  • Support clients moving towards a skills-based organisation model, advising on the practical steps of that transition.
  • Produce clear, client-ready deliverables, including frameworks, skills matrices and career maps that stand up to senior stakeholder scrutiny.
  • Advise on how frameworks integrate into existing talent processes such as learning, recruitment, succession planning and reward.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with client stakeholders to validate and refine frameworks collaboratively.
  • Flex across multiple client engagements as part of Infopro's wider workforce transformation advisory offering.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience designing skills taxonomies, capability or competency frameworks, or career pathways within a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and structuring skills, able to translate complex organisational information into clear, usable frameworks.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, comfortable running workshops with senior client stakeholders.
  • Working familiarity with established competency or capability methodologies.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills, able to produce polished, client-ready documentation.

Core Competencies

  • Comfortable and credible engaging stakeholders from C-suite through to C-suite-2.
  • Consultative, insight-led trusted advisor approach.
  • Executive presence with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in a remote, distributed environment.

Nice to have’s

  • Experience within a workforce transformation, HR or talent consulting practice, whether boutique or large consultancy.
  • Direct exposure to skills-based organisation (SBO) transformation programmes.
  • Familiarity with HR technology or skills ontology platforms, such as Eightfold, Gloat, Degreed or Workday Skills Cloud.

What Makes This Role Different

This role suits an experienced workforce or talent consultant who enjoys the structuring and problem-solving side of the work as much as the client-facing side. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between detailed analytical work and confident senior stakeholder engagement, and is equally at home building a framework from scratch as refining one that already exists. Someone who is also happy to travel is also essential!
