Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for a Senior Reporter on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at its Insurance Post brand. Insurance Post is the award‑winning publication for the UK general insurance market, providing breaking news, in‑depth analysis, and data‑led insight for insurance professionals. Our journalism informs, challenges, and connects the industry, helping senior decision‑makers understand emerging risks, trends, and opportunities.

As Senior Reporter, you will be a key player in the Insurance Post editorial team, helping to shape coverage of the UK general insurance market. You will contribute to a wide range of editorial output, developing your journalistic expertise while producing high‑impact content that resonates with a senior professional audience.

Key Accountabilities

As Senior Reporter, you will be responsible for breaking exclusive news, securing interviews with senior industry figures, and delivering insightful features and data analysis on emerging trends and developments in the general insurance market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing exclusive news stories and in‑depth analysis pieces
  • Curating and sending email news alerts
  • Staying on top of developments in the general insurance industry and explaining complex subjects clearly and comprehensively
  • Developing original and compelling story ideas, including creative formats such as charts, infographics, video, polls, podcasts, and other multimedia content
  • Engaging professionally with key industry players in person and via social channels, using these interactions to generate content
  • Working collaboratively with editorial and wider business colleagues

  • Proven writing, research, and editing skills
