Objectives of the Role

  • Be the operational "engine" behind creation of Chartis flagship reports.
  • Support senior research team members with execution of segment‑specific deliverables.
  • Surface new opportunities for Chartis research coverage such that Chartis can be relied on as a thought leader.
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity with respect to research agenda.
  • Begin building reputation as a thought leader.

Key responsibilities

  • Research & Consulting/Advisory: Collaboratively write and publish high quality topical and vendor‑specific analysis and POVs at a regular cadence within assigned franchise area.
  • Plan and participate in vendor research briefings and synthesize findings.
  • Track vendor strategies and offerings to identify areas of differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Demonstrate command of high‑level concepts and market dynamics in assigned franchise; contribute thoughtfully to discussions.
  • Keep informed on market trends through self‑education, and peer/client interactions; consistently demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
  • Client‑first; represent Chartis professionally in virtual and in‑person interactions.
  • Management & Operations: Execute Chartis processes efficiently to drive successful client deliverables; maintain accurate project tracking (Monday.com).
  • Responsible for overall project management of Chartis flagship report development; lead weekly SCRM calls for in‑flight reports.
  • Adhere to approved supporting templates.
  • Be a resource for global sales team fielding process questions.
  • Adhere to the company’s policies and standards, follow reporting structures, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
  • Proficient at delivering outcomes, tasks, and work deliverables/reports on time and at high levels of quality.
  • Exercise a high level of reliability to clients, both internal and external.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years' working experience in a field related to technology or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (notably, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Skilled at data analysis and associated software.
  • Skilled at English language writing.
  • Ability to time manage - across projects, within a project.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior work experience as a research analyst; strong understanding of research methodologies.
  • Facility with a business intelligence tool.
  • Certifications such as a CFA.
