Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for a Financial Services Digital and Events Producer on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at its Infopro Digital Risk Global division, supporting the Risk.net and Waters Technology events and Marketing Solutions portfolio in our London offices.
Infopro Digital Global Financial Markets powers the financial risk, derivatives, regulation, and fintech communities with high‑value intelligence, data, events, and digital products. Our brands and products are renowned for their accuracy, depth, and impact.
As Producer, you will be a key player in the Risk.net and Waters technology Events & Marketing Solutions team. You will be contributing to a variety of projects, while developing your skills and reaching new levels of expertise.
Key Accountabilities- Webinar, on demand and commercial editorial content calendar project coordination and content delivery: Working together with the sales, commercial editorial and marketing to deliver schedule and bespoke on demand and webinar broadcasts.
- Working with the Risk.net and Waters Technology editorial and production teams to deliver the program for the Financial Markets Summit. This includes extensive telephone and face‑to‑face research with industry contacts to develop conference topics and write cutting‑edge conference programmes within the portfolio of events; recruitment of and liaison with senior‑level speakers; writing content‑led marketing copy; and effective project management of events from their inception to completion.
- Keeping to best practice production timelines.
- Project managing event production, operations, marketing, and sales deadlines.
- Researching and developing content.
- Developing market‑leading, innovative event programmes through market research.
- Market research – mainly telephone and face‑to‑face research, but also desk‑based research and attending external events.
- Researching and meeting with potential sponsors.
- Developing commercial formats that deliver value to sponsors.
- Researching, confirming, and managing speakers.
- Brief writing – creating marketing, sales, and telesales briefs which explain your events to the wider team.
- Working with the editorial team to deliver various bespoke content opportunities.
- Writing market‑leading content marketing copy.
- Proof reading.
- Driving website content – working with marketing to keep websites up to date and engaging, including updating event content and speaker biographies and photos online.
- Managing events onsite and speaker liaison.
- Strong research and analytical skills, both phone‑based and face‑to‑face.
- Excellent written communication skills, including content‑led marketing copy.
- Capacity to project‑manage complex, multi‑stakeholder events.
- Confidence when engaging with senior industry experts and speakers.
- Ability to generate innovative ideas for new event products and formats.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Comfortable working onsite at events and leading speaker liaison.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, History, Politics, Economics, Communications or the sciences is preferred.
- Proactive, curious, high‑energy, results‑oriented – a reputation for getting things done!
- Industry knowledge in one or more of the following areas is desirable, but not essential: financial markets (derivatives & capital markets, risk management), insurance, and financial technology.
