Infopro Digital is recruiting for an Events Assistant to join the Operations team within our 1LoD brand, based in London. Infopro Digital is a fast‑growing global information services business with a strong focus on innovation and expansion. Three times awarded Digital B2B Publisher of the Year, we employ 4,000 people across 18 countries and generate €550m in revenue across six professional markets: automobile, construction, retail, insurance & finance, public sector and industry.

About 1LoD: 1LoD provides high‑quality intelligence to risk and control professionals managing non‑financial risks within global financial institutions. We deliver this through events, benchmarking surveys, special reports and digital content. Recently acquired by Infopro Digital, 1LoD is scaling rapidly and offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to kick‑start their career in event operations.

The Events Assistant will provide exceptional administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager and wider team, contributing to the smooth delivery of both virtual and in‑person events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registrations
  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming registrations and delegate queries via phone and email.
  • Maintain and update the CRM database (HubSpot) to a high standard.
  • Support coordination of multi‑event group bookings from financial institutions.
  • Send confirmation emails, deadline reminders and content updates.
  • Manage delegate session registrations and issue calendar invites.
  • Assist with onsite registration at in‑person events, including welcoming delegates, issuing badges and acting as a main point of contact throughout the event.
  • Event Support
    • Build and update virtual event platforms with relevant content.
    • Assist with event preparation including badge printing, materials creation and equipment ordering.
    • Support general operational tasks and ad hoc duties, including organising internal team events.
  • Development & Growth
    • Opportunity to travel to events in London and internationally.
    • Learn and support venue and hotel management, with potential to independently coordinate future events.
    Skills
    • Strong IT capability and willingness to learn new software.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
    • Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach.
    Personal Attributes
    • Enthusiastic, positive, confident, resilient, adaptable, creative, reliable, and able to use sound judgement.
    Experience
    • Minimum one year of administrative experience, ideally within a corporate environment.
    Working Pattern
    • Standard hours: 9:00–17:00.
    • At least four days per week in the office initially.
    • Some international travel and occasional unsociable hours during events.
